Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse range of events. Duties

Develop comprehensive event plans from conception through execution, ensuring all elements align with client goals and brand standards
Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and entertainment providers to secure the best terms and value
Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and maximizing resources through strategic upselling opportunities
Coordinate logistics including venue setup, catering, audiovisual needs, guest accommodations, and transportation arrangements
Oversee event marketing efforts by promoting events through various channels and managing promotional materials
Lead a team of staff or contractors during events, providing clear direction and ensuring excellent guest services
Utilize event management software and CRM systems to streamline planning processes, track client interactions, and maintain detailed records

Requirements

Proven experience in event planning or management within the hospitality industry or related fields such as hotel or restaurant management
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contracts and upselling opportunities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software tools
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and vendor negotiations
Experience managing event budgets from initial planning through post-event reconciliation
Knowledge of catering operations, banquet services, and hotel or venue operations is highly desirable
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required for events
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing teams or coordinating large-scale events
