Job Description
Radiology Technologist Opportunity – Nebraska
Direct Hire | Full-Time
A healthcare organization is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a permanent, full-time role. This position offers the opportunity to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while working in a patient-focused environment. The organization supports cross-training opportunities, professional development, and the use of modern imaging technology while providing high-quality patient care. A $25,000 sign-on bonus is included.

Position Overview

Permanent, full-time role
Diagnostic radiology position
Utilizes PACS and RIS imaging systems
Cross-training opportunities available in additional imaging modalities
Reports directly to the Radiology Director

Compensation & Incentives

Hourly range: $30 – $46 (based on experience)
$25,000 sign-on bonus

Key Responsibilities

Perform radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians and radiologists
Maintain electronic health records and utilize PACS and RIS systems
Evaluate image quality and determine when repeat imaging is necessary
Schedule exams and maintain accurate patient documentation
Communicate patient results to physicians as appropriate
Position patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures
Apply radiation safety and protection standards at all times
Start IVs or learn IV insertion as required
Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment
Maintain imaging equipment and report repair needs promptly
Disinfect imaging rooms and maintain cleanliness of exam areas
Participate in department meetings and continuing education activities
Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
Participate in after-hours and on-call coverage as required

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
ARRT Certification (Required)
Nebraska Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Demonstrated experience performing CT scans
Ability to return to the facility within 30 minutes during on-call periods
Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging best practices
