Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, organized and client focused Cabinet Designer and Showroom Specialist. In this role, you will act as point of contact for homeowners, project manager and various suppliers and vendor representatives. You will guide clients through the cabinetry process- from the initial showroom greeting to material selection cabinet design/layout, quoting and the final order processing. The hybrid role is responsible for promoting sales, maintaining the showroom and serving as the primary point of contact for incoming phone inquiries.

Responsibilities

Consultive Sales: Greet showroom walk-ins, qualify customer needs and present tailored cabinetry and hardware solutions that fit their style, project goals and budget.
Design & Layouts: Create functional, aesthetically pleasing cabinet layouts and 3D renderings using industry software (e.g. 2020 Design, Cabinet Vision).
Quoting & Proposals: Accurately price cabinetry, sinks, faucets and hardware; prepare detailed estimates and quotes. Lead or be in attendance for estimate review meetings, as required where the design solutions and pricing are presented. Accurately price any changes made to the initial estimate and prepare change orders.
Order Management: Process and verify cabinet and fixture orders, ensuring all products, specifications, dimensions and finishes are as specified and signed off by clients.
Project Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the client, builders/contractors, project manager to ensure a seamless project execution. Maintain computer and hard copy client files to information is easily found. Communicate information to all pertinent parties.
Showroom Management: Opening and closing showroom daily. Assist in keeping the showroom floor clean, organized and project displays are up to date. Serve as the friendly professional voice of the business by answering incoming phone calls. Qualify leads, answer basic product pricing questions. Schedule in home measures, estimate review meetings and showroom consultations.
Relationship building: Proactively follow up with leads and prospective clients. Build a network of referrals and trade accounts.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in cabinet design, kitchen/bath sales or a related home improvement field.
Software Skills: Proficiency in 20/20 cabinet layout software preferred. Cabinet Vision a plus. Google Office.
Product Knowledge:Strong understanding of wood species, cabinet construction methods, finishes and hardware.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and fabricators.
Organization: Strong multi-tasking abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
