Full Job Description

RIDE LLC. is currently seeking applicants for Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions, who have friendly personalities and the patience needed to accommodate developmentally disabled individuals. This is a great opportunity to join RIDE, where we are 100% committed to our clients and our caretakers, and where we can provide growth and plenty of hours for the right applicants.

RIDE LLC. provides licensed homemaker/personal care services across Delaware, Franklin, Union, and Knox County, Ohio. Our strategy as an agency sets us apart as we strive to provide exceptional care and to make a positive impact on the lives of our clientele.

Current shifts available:

A) Location: Powell, OH. Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 9 AM and 3 PM - 7 PM. (client strongly prefers female staff).
B) Location: Westerville, OH. Shift: Saturday, 9 AM - 9 PM. AND Sunday 9 AM - Monday 9 AM. (includes overnight shift). (this shift includes separate pay rates for overnight and awake hours) (client strongly prefers female staff).
C) Location: Columbus, OH. Shift: Monday - Friday, 9 PM - 9 AM. (overnight shifts) (this shift includes separate pay rates for overnight and awake hours) (client strongly prefers female staff).
D) Location: Delaware, OH. Shift: Sunday and Monday, 8 AM - 9 PM. (client strongly prefers female staff).
E) Location: Sunbury, OH. Shift: Thursday and Friday, 5 PM - 11 PM. (client strongly prefers female staff).
F) Location: Sunbury, OH. Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM - 2 PM AND 5 PM - 11 PM. (client strongly prefers female staff).

Please note that there are separate pay rates for overnight and awake hours in shift "B" and shift "C". Overnight Pay Rates start at $13-$14/hour. Awake Pay Rates can range from $22/hour - $25/hour.

Requirements:

First aid and CPR certified applicants are preferred.
Medication administration certified applicants are preferred.
RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL APPLICANTS.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with co-workers, clients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
A great outlook and cheerful disposition are a must as well.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to enroll in Ohio attorney general’s retained applicant fingerprint database after the hiring process is complete (“RapBack”).
Must at least hold a high school diploma or GED certificate.
Be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.
