Columbus, Ohio | Full-Time or Part-Time
Overview
Core Moves Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy & Pilates is seeking a compassionate, curious, and evidence-informed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) with an interest in pelvic health to join our growing practice.
At Core Moves, we believe Better Begins Today. We specialize in helping people overcome pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, hypermobility, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, dysautonomia, menopause, and complex orthopedic conditions through individualized, whole-person care.
Our philosophy extends beyond treating symptoms. We integrate movement, manual therapy, Pilates, strength training, dry needling, pain science, nervous system regulation, and patient education to help clients build resilience and return to meaningful activities.
Whether you are an experienced pelvic health clinician or an OT or PT looking to specialize in this field, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about learning, values collaboration, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, bowel and bladder dysfunction, sexual pain, hypermobility syndromes, and other complex movement conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-informed clinical reasoning and patient-centered care.
- Utilize a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, movement retraining, and patient education to restore function and improve quality of life.
- Perform internal pelvic floor examinations and treatment when appropriate and within your professional scope of practice.
- Collaborate with Pilates instructors and other members of the Core Moves team to transition clients into long-term movement and wellness programming.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with referring providers and members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in case discussions, continuing education, and collaborative clinical problem-solving.
- Assist with community outreach, workshops, educational events, and marketing initiatives that promote pelvic health awareness.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of Core Moves through innovation, teamwork, and exceptional patient experiences.
- Provide occasional administrative support, including scheduling assistance, patient communication, and front desk coverage when needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT), or eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical reasoning and commitment to evidence-informed practice.
- Passion for individualized, whole-person care.
- Desire to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Preferred
- Pelvic health training through Herman & Wallace, APTA Pelvic Health, ICE, Evidence in Motion, or comparable continuing education.
- Experience treating pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, bowel and bladder disorders, sexual dysfunction, or complex orthopedic conditions.

- Certification or training in dry needling.
- Experience integrating movement-based rehabilitation, Pilates, yoga, strength training, or other therapeutic exercise approaches into patient care.
- Interest in teaching workshops, creating educational content, or participating in community outreach.
- For occupational therapists, comfort incorporating occupation-based interventions alongside pelvic health rehabilitation.
Who Thrives at Core Moves
You’ll thrive here if you:
- Love solving complex clinical puzzles.
- View the nervous system as an integral part of rehabilitation.
- Believe movement is medicine.
- Enjoy collaborating rather than practicing in isolation.
- Are compassionate, curious, and humble.
- Value treating the whole person rather than simply chasing symptoms.
- Enjoy educating patients and empowering them to become active participants in their recovery.
Our clients are often individuals who have been told “everything looks normal” or who have not improved with traditional approaches. They are looking for a clinician who will listen, think critically, and partner with them throughout their recovery.
