Customer Service Representative - Bilingual Preferred!

_ Inbound Calls for Disaster Relief Services_

$23.39 per hour

Monday-Sunday, 8-Hour Shift Between 7:00am-11:00pm EST

Columbus, Ohio in Franklinton (onsite)

3-Month Contract with Potential to Extend

What You’ll Do:

· Answer high-volume inbound calls from individuals and families affected by disasters

· Provide clear, accurate information on available federal disaster assistance programs and eligibility requirements

· Assist callers in completing, checking the status of, or troubleshooting their disaster assistance applications

· Document every caller interaction accurately and thoroughly in a secure case management database

· Follow up on pending cases and escalate complex or sensitive issues to supervisors or specialized teams

· Collaborate with teammates and other departments to ensure callers receive consistent, timely support

What We’re Looking For:

· Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Must pass lifetime criminal background and credit check (no current delinquencies, no student debt, no back taxes)

· Will require flexibility to support varying schedules, including evenings or weekends, based on operational needs

· Prior customer service or call center experience is required

· Strong verbal communication skills paired with patience and empathy, especially when supporting callers in stressful situations

· Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, using case management and call center software while talking with callers

· Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well independently and as part of a team
