POSITION: Commercial Delivery Driver

Department: Commercial
Reports to: Service Manager
Work Schedule: Estimated 30-50 hrs/wk, up to 12 hrs/day (weekly and daily hours will vary per business volume).

Management will assign hours. Must be available during company’s business hours.
Job Status: Full-time
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Position Summary:
Deliver commercial tires and related products to customers with a vehicle of under 26,000 GVW. Load and unload truck.

Essential Functions:

Driving: o Drive delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and company procedures o Inspect and maintain vehicle in proper working condition; report problems as needed o Read maps and follow geographic directions
Load/Unload Vehicle: o Load vehicle at company location o Unload vehicle at customer location o Check delivered products against shipping papers
Equipment: o Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks o Perform general housekeeping duties
Other: o Convey receipts, documents, and payment to company o Perform all applicable tasks within company’s time standards o Meet the requirements outlined in the company’s evaluation form

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
Squatting, bending, and twisting: frequent
Sitting/driving for extended periods of time.
Read ticket and perform work listed
Environment: Work in environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season.
Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception)
Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment)
PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves)
