Job description
Berkshire Campground is seeking a full-time Maintenance/Grounds Technician to join our team. We are seeking a reliable and skilled maintenance and grounds worker to help ensure the upkeep and smooth operation of our campground facilities and grounds. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive and able to handle various maintenance tasks to provide a safe and well-maintained property.

Responsibilities:

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on campground facilities, including restrooms, buildings and common areas.
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and other system as needed.
Maintaining and repairing outdoor structures like picnic tables, fences and fire pits.
Conduct regular inspections of the campground grounds to identify and address any maintenance issues.
Assisting with seasonal preparations, including setting up or closing amenities and equipment.
Maintaining the campgrounds, landscaping, including lawn care, tree trimming
Ensuring the proper functioning of campground amenities like showers, laundry facilities and recreational areas.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
Collaborating with campground staff to support special events or projects.
Other responsibilities may be determined.

Qualifications:

Previous maintenance or repair experience
Ability to perform plumbing, electric, HVAC repairs (certifications of any of the above are a plus), and general repair work.
Professional and courteous personality that will be committed to providing quality service to our residents.
Ability to prioritize, work independently, stay organized, and adapt each day to new opportunities and challenges.
Desire to learn and grow within a role with a growing company.
Ability to lift 80-100 pounds and perform tasks necessary to accomplish the above-described tasks.
Valid driver's license.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Communication skills and team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and in varying weather conditions
Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, tractor, mowers, skid steer, weed eater, leaf blowers etc.

Pay will be competitive based on experience.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
