Full Job Description

Concierge & Valet Services Associate – Third Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Full-Time)

A Concierge & Valet Services Associate is a customer service professional who serves as the visible point of contact for residents and guests in a high-rise residential community. This full-time, overnight role combines traditional concierge responsibilities with valet services to ensure a secure, welcoming, and upscale experience during third shift hours. The associate is expected to be attentive, proactive, and knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

Guest & Resident Interaction:
Warmly welcomes residents, guests, and visitors during overnight hours.
Creates a positive experience by attending to needs and answering questions.
Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Valet Services:
Safely park and retrieve resident and guest vehicles.
Maintain valet logs and ensure proper handling of keys.
Assist with loading/unloading luggage or packages as needed.
Monitor parking areas for safety and security.
Resident Services:
Receive and manage package deliveries at the front desk.
Coordinate dry cleaning pickup/drop-off and other personal errands.
Assist residents with amenity reservations and overnight guest access.
Provide directions and local recommendations for dining, entertainment, and services.
Administrative Support:
Perform various administrative and managerial tasks in support of the facility’s mission.
Maintain accurate records and logs related to concierge and valet services.
Communicate effectively with property management and service vendors.
Security Awareness:
Monitor building access points and report any suspicious activity.
Ensure overnight safety protocols are followed.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong professional communication skills (phone, written, verbal).
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with basic vehicle handling and safety protocols.
Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of related experience in hospitality, customer service, or valet operations.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for valet duties).

Working Conditions

Full-time third shift schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Non-typical office environment with frequent standing, walking, and talking.
Indoor and outdoor activities, including exposure to weather conditions during valet services.
Overtime may be required (on-call, emergency support).
Frequent social interaction with residents, guests, and vendors.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and lift items.
Use hands and fingers for data entry and handling packages.
Must be able to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.

Environmental Demands

Work is performed in a climate-controlled lobby and outdoor valet area.
Occasional exposure to weather elements such as rain, snow, or heat while performing valet duties.
