At Van Martin Roofing, we do more than replace roofs. We help homeowners protect one of the most important investments they have: their home.

We are looking for a Roofing Restoration Sales Representative who will work directly with homeowners through the insurance restoration process. This role is focused on helping customers after storm, wind, hail, or weather-related roof damage by educating them, inspecting their property, documenting damage, and helping guide them through the roof replacement process.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident, hardworking, personable, and motivated by helping people while building a strong career in sales.

What You’ll Do

As a Roofing Restoration Sales Representative, you will:

Meet with homeowners to discuss roof damage, storm restoration, and insurance-related roof replacement options

Perform roof and exterior inspections to identify potential storm, wind, or hail damage

Document damage with photos, notes, and clear communication

Help homeowners understand the insurance claim process from inspection through replacement

Work with insurance adjusters during inspections when needed

Build trust with homeowners through honest, professional, and helpful communication

Follow up with customers throughout the sales and restoration process

Generate new business through referrals, canvassing, community relationships, and company-provided leads when available

Represent Van Martin Roofing with professionalism, integrity, and care

Meet sales goals while maintaining a customer-first approach

What We’re Looking For

The right person for this role is someone who:

Enjoys talking with people and building relationships

Is comfortable working in a sales environment

Can explain things clearly without making people feel pressured or confused

Is self-motivated and able to manage their own schedule

Has strong follow-through and does what they say they will do

Can handle rejection without taking it personally

Is comfortable being outside, walking properties, and climbing roofs when needed

Values honesty, teamwork, and doing the right thing for the customer

Wants to grow with a company that invests in its people

Experience

Previous roofing, restoration, construction, insurance, or sales experience is helpful, but not required for the right person. We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

Sales experience

Roofing, construction, or restoration experience

Experience working with insurance claims

Customer service experience

Comfortable using a phone, CRM, or basic technology to track leads and customer communication

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
