Full Job Description

VoxTel is seeking an IT Service Desk Manager to provide advanced technical expertise, coordinate field operations, and drive regional performance. This position is responsible for user security administration, Business Objects environment maintenance, reporting support, SQL/batch scripting, DevOps tasks, HR data validation, and solution maintenance. The IT Service Desk Manager provides technical support to both internal and external customers through phone calls, website chats, emails, etc. and works to resolve complaints and issues in a timely manner.

IT Service Desk Manager Responsibilities:

This position provides first- and second-level technical support
Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows while ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with Data Architects, DBAs, Business Analysts, and application teams to deliver effective data solutions.
Reporting: Generate, automate, and analyze production reports, downtime logs, and quality metrics to support leadership decision-making
Troubleshoot data issues, optimize performance, support deployments, and contribute to continuous improvements in data processes necessary.
Internal Support (10%)
Support Technical Services training programs, as directed.
Create and update technical data sheets and technical advisories.
Help design and implement procedures and online tools for vendor supplied products.
This role ensures consistent service quality, knowledge development, and adherence to support procedures and best practice
Ensures that documentation is kept up to date for the helpdesk

IT Service Desk Manager Position Qualifications:

Minimum of three years of experience in IT or comparable industry experience.
Oracle PL/SQL
Strong experience designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise ETL workflows.
Degree or certifications in a relevant field required
Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on and prioritize tasks
Excellent computer literacy
Strong troubleshooting skills
Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to take detailed notes at the time of customer interactions
Local to Columbus, OH
