Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG) a Pinnaql company is a leading services supplier who provides solutions for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Food, and Medical Devices industries in the following areas: Laboratory, Compliance, Computer, Engineering, Project Management, Validation, and other services.

We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethical standards for the following position:

Engineering Technical Lead - Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Demonstrated experience with mechanical equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
Strong understanding of HVAC, utility, and process mechanical systems.
Experience performing field walkdowns and generating punch list items.

Responsibilities

Support the Engineering Team in conducting active mechanical pre-energization walkdowns.
Verify installation completeness and readiness of mechanical systems and equipment prior to startup and energization.
Review equipment installation against approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Participate in field inspections of mechanical equipment including, but not limited to:
- Chillers
- Boilers
- Fluid Coolers
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- HVAC Systems
- Pumps
- Piping Systems
- Mechanical Utility Systems
Support active pre-energization walkdowns for mechanical equipment and associated support systems.
Identify deficiencies, installation issues, and quality concerns.
Create, document, track, and follow up on punch list items and field observations.
Coordinate with construction, commissioning, quality, and engineering teams to resolve identified issues.
Support mechanical turnover and readiness activities leading to startup and operation.
Provide written status updates and reports as required.
