Full Job Description

A commercial construction company is looking for a Payroll Specialist. This role will serve as the company's dedicated payroll resource while supporting HR and accounting functions.

Why is the role open?

The company is separating a longtime shared-services arrangement and bringing this position fully in-house as a dedicated resource.

Responsibilities

Process payroll accurately and on time
Maintain employee and payroll records
Assist with payroll reporting and compliance
Support HR and accounting administration
Answer employee payroll-related questions
Help with special projects as needed

Qualifications

Payroll experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to handle confidential information
Experience with HR, accounting, or office administration is a plus

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
