Full Job Description

Job Summary
Fortress Industries LLC is hiring a full time Kitchen Cabinet Salesperson to join our sales team. Fortress Industries manufactures cabinets, custom casework, millwork products, and countertops for residential and commercial applications. We have a small, close-knit team that values the input of everyone at our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, contacting, and closing on new sales for residential, commercial, and multi-family customers. Applicants will also be responsible for maintaining long-term customer accounts, as well as sourcing new accounts. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. The Salesperson will work closely with customers, architects, and homeowners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Pay Range: $21-23/hour - pay adjusted to match experience / performance

Responsibilities

Sales and Client Consultation: Engage with residential, commercial, and multi-family clients to assess their needs and recommend the most suitable kitchen cabinet solutions. Provide expert advice on product options, finishes, and configurations.
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest kitchen cabinet trends, materials, and technologies. Educate clients on the different cabinet styles, features, and benefits.
Design Assistance: Help clients visualize their project by providing design support, layout suggestions, and coordinating with designers or contractors as needed.
Quotes and Proposals: Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for clients, including detailed product descriptions, measurements, and pricing. Follow up with potential clients to close sales and convert leads into long-term relationships.
Project Coordination: Work closely with the project management team to ensure that orders are processed, deliveries are timely, and installations meet client expectations.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues before, during, and after the sale. Ensure a smooth and positive experience for clients throughout the purchasing process.
Sales Goals: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive client outreach and relationship-building.
Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and contribute to expanding the client base in the residential, commercial, and multi-family sectors. Network with contractors, designers, architects, and builders to generate new leads and partnerships.

Experience

Previous experience in kitchen cabinet sales or a related field is highly preferred.
Knowledge of residential, commercial, and multi-family construction processes and requirements is highly preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
Ability to interpret client needs and recommend the best products and solutions.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Self-motivated with a passion for sales and providing excellent customer service.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
