Full Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our medical office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information and update medical records in electronic systems
- Collect patient co-pays and process insurance information
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and provide necessary information

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medical scheduling software and electronic medical records systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
