Full Job Description

The Regional Director of Operations provides leadership and operational oversight for multiple senior living, assisted living, and long-term care communities within the Southwest OH region. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, quality resident care, financial performance, and team development.

Operations & Leadership

Oversee the performance of multiple communities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Partner with Executive Directors and community leadership teams to achieve operational goals and resolve challenges.
Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, quality of care, and resident satisfaction.
Recruit, mentor, and develop community leaders to build strong, high-performing teams.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Monitor survey readiness, audits, and corrective action plans.
Lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes and overall community performance.

Financial Management

Support communities in achieving budget and financial objectives.
Review financial reports and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Optimize resources while maintaining high standards of care and service.

Resident Experience

Promote a resident-centered culture focused on quality care, safety, and satisfaction.
Monitor feedback and implement action plans to improve the resident and family experience.
Ensure communities maintain a welcoming and supportive environment.

Strategic Execution

Implement operational initiatives and best practices across the region.
Drive continuous improvement efforts that support growth, efficiency, and service excellence.
Collaborate with leadership teams to align regional objectives with organizational goals.

Collaboration

Serve as a key link between regional leadership and community operations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to share best practices and improve performance.
Represent the organization with external stakeholders, industry partners, and community organizations.

Qualifications -

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field required. Active Nursing Home Administrator license
Experience: Leadership experience in healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in a multi-site or regional management role. Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare settings is highly preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop leaders.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Proven financial management and budgetary skills, with the ability to analyze financial reports and KPIs.
Ability to travel frequently within the region to visit facilities and meet with leadership teams.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
