Logistics Analytics Specialist – Transportation Optimization

Vertiv | Americas Region

Position Summary

Are you a data-driven problem solver who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insights? Vertiv is seeking a Logistics Analytics Specialist to support transportation optimization across the Americas region.

This role sits within Logistics and focuses on analyzing transportation data, building reporting solutions, improving visibility, and supporting data-driven decisions that enhance carrier performance, cost, service, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is passionate about analytics and excited to apply those skills to real-world supply chain challenges.

What You’ll Do

Analyze large transportation datasets including freight spend, carrier performance, service levels, capacity, and transit metrics.
Build dashboards, KPI reporting, and data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and other analytics tools .
Translate logistics data into actionable insights that improve transportation performance and decision-making.
Support Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) optimization through analytics, reporting, and performance tracking.
Identify data quality issues, trends, and opportunities to improve processes and operational visibility.
Partner with Logistics, Procurement, Operations, Master Data, carriers, and logistics providers to support continuous improvement.
Support transportation reporting, process improvements, documentation, and TMS data accuracy.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in analytics, supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field.
Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics platforms .
Ability to work with large datasets, identify trends, and communicate insights.
Strong analytical mindset with curiosity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Interest in applying analytics to improve transportation and supply chain performance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain analytics.
Experience with domestic or international transportation data.
Familiarity with TMS platforms, process mapping, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Spanish language skills are a plus.

Travel: Approximately 10%
