Full Job Description

Liberty Township is seeking an experienced, hands-on leader to serve as our Park Facilities & Grounds Manager. This position plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing more than 325 acres of parks, trails, athletic fields, playgrounds, and community gathering spaces that serve one of Ohio's fastest-growing communities.

The Park Facilities & Grounds Manager oversees daily park operations, grounds maintenance, facility upkeep, and park improvement projects while supervising a dedicated team of park maintenance professionals. This position requires a strong combination of leadership, technical expertise, project management, and a commitment to providing exceptional public service.

What You'll Do

Lead and supervise park maintenance and grounds staff
Manage maintenance of parks including: athletic field and turf management, playgrounds, trails, buildings, and amenities
Coordinate park improvement and capital projects
Oversee equipment, fleet, and facility maintenance programs
Assist with budgeting, planning, and operational improvements
Ensure safe, attractive, and well-maintained public spaces for residents and visitors

Experience in parks, grounds, facilities, landscape, or public works management
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Knowledge of park maintenance practices, equipment operation, and facility upkeep
A highly pro-active approach to planning, prioritizing and managing projects and responsibilities
Commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence
