Full Job Description

Overview
The Bridge church is in the initial stages of an exciting season of growth. Not only is our community growing at a rapid pace, but our church is as well. As such, we are seeking an experienced worship leader to join us in our mission of "Bringing tribe and Truth together."

This is a part-time position, but the pay and hours have the opportunity to increase as the church grows.

Responsibilities

Plan weekly worship sets at least a quarter in advance
Input volunteers into the church management software at least a quarter in advance
Hold weekly worship practices
Participate in the life of the church outside of Sunday services
Share in the leadership of our "Experience" team, helping craft a long-term vision and philosophy of ministry for our Sunday services
Fosters a culture of collaboration, mutual submission with other church leaders, and Christian preference toward one another in a non/multi-denominational worship setting

Qualifications

Experience planning and leading worship in a church setting
Strong vocalist and the ability to lead while playing an instrument (preferably guitar)
High emotional intelligence and the ability to develop people in a loving manner
Mature faith (not a new believer)

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a church that is already growing but is in the infancy of a new season of life following a recent pastoral transition. The church is committed to connecting people with one another and Jesus, and believes that our Sunday services are an important part of that process. We desire to do things well, while also valuing more intimate worship settings and heart care over heightened "production" value. In other words, we want to limit distractions by having a culture of excellence without crossing the line into worship as a show. As such, we are investing significantly in brand new, top of the line AVL infrastructure over the next couple of months. This is in addition to already having an above average band/vocalists for a church of our size. So, the opportunity is ripe for someone that wants to help build something special in Delaware County!
