About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, dependable Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the welcoming face of our practice and a trusted set of hands for our medical team. This is a hybrid position: you'll spend part of your day connecting with clients at the front desk and part of it supporting our veterinarians and technicians in the back.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once — someone who works just as well independently as they do on a team.

What You'll Do

Client Service

Greet clients and patients warmly and create a calm, positive experience from check-in to check-out
Answer inbound calls and respond to inquiries by email and social media
Schedule appointments and manage the daily flow of the front desk
Process payments, invoices, and check-outs accurately
Keep the practice management system up to date with client and patient records

Veterinary Assistance

Safely restrain and handle animals during exams and procedures
Prepare exam rooms and assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments
Take patient histories, weights, and vitals
Help with basic lab work, sample collection, and prepping medications as directed
Maintain a clean, stocked, and sanitary work environment

Operations

Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and ordering inventory
Suggest improvements to processes and policies
Support the team wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly

What We're Looking For

A genuine passion for animals and for helping the people who love them
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Excellent organization and the ability to multitask in a busy setting
Reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn
Comfort working on your feet and handling animals of various sizes and temperaments
Previous veterinary, animal care, or customer service experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
