This position requires a strong background in food service management, exceptional culinary skills, and the ability to lead and inspire kitchen staff

Duties

Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Prepare and present high-quality dishes for both regular service and special events such as banquets.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients.
Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
Train new kitchen staff on proper techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.

Skills

Strong knowledge of inventory management practices within a kitchen setting.
Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines with a focus on quality food production.
Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments within the hospitality industry.
