Compensation & Benefits:
$18.04+ per hour starting pay, paid weekly (Pay Rate dependent on Role)
Schedules:
Dry Location: 5, 8-hour shifts (with limited overtime options)
Liquid Location: Weekly schedules change depending on workload. The average week has 4 to 5 days of 10-hour shifts.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Production - Accurately counts and assembles a number of finished good packages on a pallet. Package finished goods and verify the integrity of the seal on various packaging types. Supports Machine operators and other team members as needed.
Blender – Operate and monitor a variety of mixers/blenders/auxiliary equipment to produce a quality product and ensure a safe and efficient operation. Loads ingredients into blenders and equipment while following company, safety, and food safety policies and procedures.
Stager – Stage batches by accurately selecting, weighing, counting, and verifying ingredients according to recipe specifications located on the work orders.
Machine Operator - Making sure machines are running at the proper temperature and that the ingredients are blended to the exact specifications detailed in the instructions on the job sheet.
Required Skills
- Follow instructions: Demonstrated ability to follow prescribed procedures in and reliable manner, paying close attention to detailed rules and regulations and following them at all times
- Operations Monitoring: Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Coordination: Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions in an effective and efficient manner
- Operation and Control: Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Environment: May be exposed to minor dust, strong scents, and noise levels.
Preferred Skills
- Apply GMP: Familiarity with applying regulations regarding manufacture of food and food safety compliance
- Use packaging equipment: Knowledge of use fastening and packaging tools such as plastic strapping, applicators, and adhesives, marking and labelling equipment, and tape.
- Monitor machine operations: Knowledge of observing machine operations and evaluating product quality thereby ensuring conformity to standards.
- Ensure quality control in packaging: Experience with implementing and monitor activities so that all requirements of packing procedures and packing standards are met at all times.
- Check quality of products on the production line: Experience with checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items before and after packaging.
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Example Activities:
- Attach identification labels to finished packaged items for shipping destinations.
- Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
- Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of packaged products to standards.
- Accurately weighs ingredients and finished goods in the production process.
- Accurately counts and assembles number of finished good packages on a pallet
- Package finished goods and verify the integrity of the seal on various packaging types.
- Must consistently achieve production output standards.
- Ensure accurate labeling of products with regulatory information.
- Communicate production/quality problems immediately to Team Leader/Quality Assurance for disposition.
- Assembles, labels, and seals components of finished good packing such as boxes, kraft bags, bags, super sacks, specialty packing, etc.
- Be able to work hand-in-hand with bagging operator.
- Inspects ingredients for debris and any foreign material before using.
Abilities Required
- Able to lift 50lbs
- This job requires intermittent periods of continued physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
- Able to communicate with other employees.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions in a timely manner.
