Homewatch CareGivers of Central Ohio East serves a large area that includes Pickerington, Canal Winchester, Reynoldsburg, German Village, Bexley, Whitehall, Blacklick, Groveport, East Columbus, and beyond.
We are seeking reliable, organized, assertive, professional STAFF and CLIENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR to join our team. This person will:
- Create schedules for our clients in our scheduling software
- Identify back up caregivers who are available to cover call-offs
- Communicate clearly, thoroughly, and professionally with caregivers, other staff, clients, and clients' families by phone, text, email and other software
- Answer and triage calls and texts seven days a week, addressing callers' concerns in a timely manner
- Cover shifts when no back-up caregivers are available
- Provide caregiver guidance, coaching, support, and supervision
- Recommend caregiver disciplinary action, bonuses, raises and extra training
- Review and approve caregivers timesheets, shift notes
- Recruit new caregivers, as needed, using a variety methods
- Schedule and conduct caregiver interviews, video and in-person
- Verify caregiver references and review caregiver background checks
- Assist with the preparation for and delivery of New Employee Orientations
- Coordinate caregiver online training
- File paperwork, assemble packets, perform office work, as needed
- Conduct 60-day client quality-assurance visits
- Address caregiver and client concerns as they arise
This is a full-time, salaried, hybrid position that can be worked partly from home, if desired. It is also an on call position; the person hired for this role is responsible for answering telephone calls and texts seven days a week and responding to emergencies and last-minute call-offs.
An organized STAFF and CLIENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR should enjoy considerable downtime every week and have the freedom to plan their workweek largely as they see fit. However, there will be busy, stressful moments during the week when it becomes known that scheduled caregivers will not be covering their scheduled shifts and replacements must be found. Ultimately, it is the STAFF and CLIENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR's responsibility to ensure that all shifts are covered.

Qualifications:
· Must be 18+ years old
· Must have a high school diploma or GED
· Must be able to pass a background check
· Must be dependable, responsible, punctual, organized, and professional
· Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
· Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
· Must have at least three years of caregiving, direct service or senior care experience
· CNA/STNA/HHA/BHT preferred but not required
· Must be comfortable using office equipment and scheduling software
· Must be a quick learner
· Must be able to remain calm and composed during stressful situations
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
