Are you passionate about guiding disconnected teens away from frustration, violence, addiction, and unemployment—and toward purpose, stability, and hope? All THAT is seeking Program Coordinators with the grit, emotional maturity, and resilience to mentor teens facing real life challenges, while helping them build real futures.

We provide STRUCTURE for youth who are often written off. They need strong, dedicated, positive adults who won’t give up when things get hard. Who won't flinch when things get uncomfortable.

What You’ll Do

Mentor and coach teens ages 13–19 who are at risk of falling through the cracks. Deliver creative career and life skills programming across career tracks including:

Hospitality and Culinary Arts
Skilled Trades
Military & First Responders
Business & Entrepreneurship
STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, Math)

Prepare students for industry-recognized certifications (e.g. CPR/First Aid, ServSafe)

Help teens build work ethic, character and real-world soft skills

Plan and coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and hands-on career exposure

Create structured, engaging activities that promote leadership, accountability, and teamwork

Drive 14-passenger mini-buses for field trips and daily transportation

Maintain a safe, clean, structured and welcoming environment

Communicate with parents, school staff, and community partners—especially when conversations are difficult

Track attendance, participation and student progress consistently

Show up daily with energy, structure and purpose

Do what it takes to ensure teens feel safe, seen, and supported

Be part of a committed, no-drama, all-in team that believes in every teen’s potential

Who You Are

A self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged
A mission-driven mentor who is not afraid of tough love or tough conversations
Emotionally mature and able to stay calm under pressure
Able to work with teens who may be disengaged, disprespectful or resistant - and not take it personally
Comfortable holding high expectations while building strong relationships
A strong communicator who can navigate conflict with youth, parents, and collegues
Reliable and consistent - your attendance sets the standard
Detail-oriented and organized, but flexible enough to roll with daily changes
A no-drama team player with high standards and a positive attitude
Someone who works hard, takes pride in their work, and knows how to have fun doing it
Willing to jump in - whether that 's leading a session, cleaning a workspace, or drive a van
A natural encourager who brings energy, structure, and heart to every interaction and who believes that "difficult" teens are worth every effort

Minimum Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience working with teens in a professional setting
An Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Education, Workforce Development, Behavioral or Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or related field
Experience implementing youth development, academic or workforce programming
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Strong candidates will have lived experiences that makes them a credible and compassionate mentor
Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor teens from diverse backgrounds
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours. Some evenings and Saturdays required for Family Activities and to transport students home.
Ability to pass background check and insurance screening
Authorized to work in the U.S.
