Full Job Description

J. F. Bakers' Sons is a busy roofing company looking for a reliable, organized Office Assistant to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. If you are comfortable on the phones, quick with a keyboard, and enjoy being the person who keeps everything on track behind the scenes, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Assist in answering incoming calls and serve as the first point of contact for customers
Schedule roofing estimates
Type and email estimates and correspondence to customers
Handle filing and general office organization
Support accounts payable functions
Perform data entry and maintain records using Excel, QuickBooks, and OneDrive
Assist with shingle sample organization and coordination

What We're Looking For

Preferably 2+ years of office or administrative experience (construction or trades background a plus, but not required)
Professional appearance; strong telephone and communication skills
Comfortable with Excel, QuickBooks, and OneDrive — or eager to learn
Good knowledge of the Columbus metro area, including zip codes and neighborhoods
Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to juggle multiple tasks
Willingness to learn the basics of our products and services
