Forever Friends Pet Cremation and Memorialization

Customer Service Representative (Sat - Wed, 8 am - 4 pm)

Join Forever Friends in our mission to honor and celebrate beloved pets with the care and compassion they deserve. If you are passionate about providing support to families and their cherished pets, we invite you to apply for the Service Center Representative position.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for families and vets and is responsible for a wide variety of client-facing activities within the day-to-day management of our operation.

Essential Functions

Displays strong customer service skills while responding to inbound telephone inquiries regarding our services, costs and procedures.
Acts with empathy and displays active listening skills while assisting client families in person or over the phone with selecting cremation services and memorial products.
Completes all documentation and records thoroughly and correctly in computer software and/or on paper to ensure accuracy of memorial arrangements per family requests.
Maintains appropriate chain of custody documentation, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of remains while in company care.
Provides key input into our processes to ensure quality care, client satisfaction and company profitability.
Follows all safety protocols and ensures the work area is tidy, clean and organized at all times.
Meets or exceeds all deadlines and customer service expectations.
Participates in staff meetings and offers suggestions to improve family satisfaction, product and service offerings and profitability of the company.
Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements

Experience with very high call volume and multi-line phone systems.
Experience in pet crematory, funeral home or related industry highly desirable.
Must have good typing skills and experience working on computers in Microsoft operating system.
Must be detail-oriented and able to complete work in a timely, competent and thorough manner.
Must be self-motivated with excellent time management.
Ability to demonstrate our core values of respect, transparency, service excellence, and accountability. Possesses the highest degree of integrity and can provide caring, empathetic, service to client families.
Shows exceptional care and respect for every pet in our care and family we serve.
Must be a team player with strong verbal, written, and communication skills
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
