Full Job Description

Join a leading global retailer as a Digital Commerce Data Analyst, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and readiness of digital product information across ecommerce channels. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with large datasets, and has advanced Microsoft Excel expertise.

The Digital Commerce Data Analyst serves as the primary owner of product information and digital imagery, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure product data is complete, accurate, and optimized for digital experiences. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.

Please Note: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential for this role. Candidates must be willing to complete an Excel assessment during the pre-screening process and participate in a live Excel evaluation during the hiring manager interview.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain digital product data and imagery across ecommerce platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Serve as the subject matter expert for digital product information, providing support and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Audit, validate, and reconcile large datasets to identify inconsistencies and ensure data integrity.
Extract, manipulate, analyze, and organize data using advanced Microsoft Excel functions to support business needs and reporting.
Partner with Merchandising, Digital Commerce, Marketing, IT, and other cross-functional teams to validate product information and resolve data discrepancies.
Investigate and troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Support digital product launches by ensuring all required product attributes, imagery, and supporting content are complete and accurate.
Maintain and improve processes that promote operational efficiency, scalability, and data quality.
Learn new systems and tools quickly while adapting to changing business priorities.
Independently manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
2–3 years of experience in data analysis, digital commerce, ecommerce operations, merchandising, product information management, or a related field.
Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise is required, including experience with:
Pivot Tables
XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
INDEX/MATCH
Nested IF statements
Data validation
Conditional formatting
Filtering and sorting large datasets
Basic reporting and data analysis
Ability to analyze large volumes of data with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting ecommerce or digital commerce operations.
Experience with SharePoint, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar content management platforms.
Experience working with product information management (PIM), digital asset management (DAM), or retail merchandising systems.
