AI Solutions Engineer

Essential Skills

Education: Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience (Python and/or TypeScript).
Demonstrated experience building and deploying LLM applications in production.
Working knowledge of agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).
Proficiency in prompt engineering (structured output, chain-of-thought).
Experience designing and running evaluations for AI-based systems.
Familiarity with common API designs (REST, GraphQL, JSON-RPC).
Experience with agentic software engineering using Claude Code, Codex, or comparable solutions.
Experience with source code management using Git.
Displays excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment where requirements shift between engagements.
Performs development tasks with little supervision; self-motivated and self-directed.

Preferred Skills

Experience working and integrating systems with commerce platforms (commercetools, Shopify, Kibo, or similar).
Familiarity with emerging standards like MCP, ACP, and UCP
Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and deploying AI systems to GCP, Azure, or AWS.
