Job Description
Solü Technology Partners is currently seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our team. The selected consultant will work closely with the designated IT supervisor, project managers, and other developers in an Agile development environment.

The scope of work will include requirements gathering, application design, application development, testing, deployment, and technical support. The consultant will be responsible for new development and/or rewriting legacy applications to .NET applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and other technologies.

The new applications will implement an N-tier architecture and comply with the department’s coding standards.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze application and system requirements.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and provide technical support for applications throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop new applications and rewrite legacy applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS.
Design and develop applications utilizing N-tier architecture and established coding standards.
Collaborate with IT supervisors, project managers, developers, and other technical resources in an Agile development environment.
Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
Demonstrate strong influence, collaboration, and negotiation experience.
Collaborate effectively with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.
Work independently and as part of a team while managing time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Communicate clearly and understandably in the English language.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff.

Qualifications

10 years of .NET Web Developer experience developing ASP.NET MVC applications with ADO.NET.
10 years of ASP.NET development using C#.
10 years of SQL Server database design and development, including query optimization, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
10 years of developing web applications using .NET Framework 4.0 or higher.
10 years of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience developing and securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
10 years of N-tier environments as related to development and deployment.
10 years of code repository, code promotion, and recovery strategies using TFS.
5 years of developing applications using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later.
5 years of developing reports using SSRS and SSIS and making them accessible within an MVC web application.
5 years of developing projects using Agile methodology with TFS / DevOps.
5 years of developing with Visual Studio, including 2 years with Visual Studio 2019.
5 years of TFS/Azure DevOps, including Git, Boards, and CI/CD pipelines.
2 years of REST API experience.
5 years of implementing AJAX-enabled controls within ASP.NET web applications — highly desired.
