Full Job Description

Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper seeking a fulfilling career in an inpatient substance use disorder treatment hospital? Look no further! White Light Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time housekeeper to join our team in our outpatient facility in the Columbus, OH area.

At White Light Behavioral Health, our mission is to provide a transformational influence to patients and their loved ones, creating a ripple effect of positive change. As a housekeeper in our hospital, you will play a vital role in creating a clean and safe environment for our patients to heal and recover.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas within the hospital.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, paying attention to detail and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and germ-free facility.
Monitor and replenish supplies, such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials, to ensure availability at all times.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to report any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the facility.
Perform light maintenance jobs.
Demonstrate professionalism and sensitivity while working around patients, respecting their privacy and confidentiality.

Pay rate:

$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

Tue-Sat (Sun-Mon restday)
7:00am - 3:30pm for 4040 location
1:00pm - 9:00pm for 4300 location

Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work daytime shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Enjoyment in working around patients and contributing to their healing environment.
