Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Treatment Plan Coordinator (2+ years) to join our Grove City team team. This role is essential in helping patients understand their treatment options, insurance benefits, and financial responsibilities—bridging the gap between clinical care and patient confidence.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and skilled in presenting treatment plans in a clear, supportive, and professional manner. You thrive in a fast-paced dental environment and take pride in guiding patients through their care journey from diagnosis to treatment completion.

Key Responsibilities

Present and review comprehensive dental treatment plans with patients, ensuring clear understanding of recommended care.
Coordinate financial arrangements, including insurance benefits, estimated out-of-pocket costs, and payment options.
Verify dental insurance coverage and eligibility; submit pre-authorizations and follow up as needed.
Partner closely with dentists, hygienists, and clinical team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in treatment planning.
Schedule treatment appointments efficiently to support provider productivity and patient convenience.
Collect and post patient payments, including co-pays, deductibles, and balances.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Address patient questions or concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-focused approach.
Support front office operations as needed to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Treatment Coordinator or similar role in a dental office required.
Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance plans.
Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix Ascend experience preferred).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient education and service.
