BizOps Collective has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, relationship-driven Financial Advisor to join a growing holistic financial services firm in New Albany, OH committed to delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions and an exceptional client experience.
Position Summary
Working in partnership with the President, the Financial Advisor will serve as a key client-facing member of the firm responsible for servicing, retaining, and expanding relationships with both new and existing clients. Through a collaborative advisory model, this individual will lead discovery meetings, ongoing client reviews, financial planning discussions, educational workshops, and strategic planning conversations while helping clients navigate life's financial decisions with confidence.
The Financial Advisor will develop and present personalized financial strategies utilizing eMoney financial planning software to illustrate retirement projections, planning updates, and tax-aware planning scenarios, including Roth conversion strategies and other tax mitigation opportunities. This individual will proactively identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships through comprehensive planning discussions surrounding retirement income, investment management, insurance and risk management, long-term care, outside retirement assets, maturing CDs, tax-efficient planning strategies, estate planning coordination, and other evolving client needs.
By combining exceptional relationship management with advanced financial planning expertise, the Financial Advisor will play a critical role in supporting client retention, growing assets under management, and contributing to the firm's continued growth.
Overview of Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Partner with the President to service, retain, and expand the firm's existing client relationships while cultivating new client opportunities through a collaborative advisory model.
- Lead discovery meetings, annual reviews, strategy sessions, and ongoing planning meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Build trusted relationships by delivering proactive, high-touch service and ongoing financial guidance based on changing life events, market conditions, and evolving financial priorities.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client questions, planning discussions, and financial recommendations.
Financial Planning & Advisory
- Develop, update, and present comprehensive financial plans using eMoney, including retirement projections, cash flow analysis, tax-aware planning scenarios, and Roth conversion strategies.
- Conduct portfolio and financial plan reviews to identify opportunities related to retirement planning, investment management, insurance and risk management, long-term care planning, outside retirement assets, bank-held assets, maturing CDs, tax mitigation strategies, estate planning coordination, and other client financial needs.
- Educate clients on planning recommendations in a clear, confident, and consultative manner that supports informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with the President on complex planning strategies, investment recommendations, and advanced client cases as needed.
Business Development & Growth
- Identify opportunities to increase assets under management by uncovering outside assets, repositioning existing investments, and expanding relationships through holistic planning conversations.
- Conduct educational seminars, webinars, retirement planning workshops, and client appreciation events to strengthen client engagement, generate referrals, and support business development initiatives.
- Represent the firm professionally within the community through networking, educational events, and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Stay current on market conditions, regulatory changes, investment products, retirement planning strategies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance client recommendations and advisory expertise.
Service Administration
- Partner with the client service team to coordinate account openings, transfers, rollovers, beneficiary updates, custodial paperwork, and service requests.
- Proactively troubleshoot paperwork issues, missing documentation, and processing delays while coordinating with custodians and internal team members.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready client records, meeting notes, disclosures, planning updates, and follow-up activities within the CRM and financial planning systems.
- Monitor client opportunities, action items, and revenue-generating activities in accordance with firm processes and compliance expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years of experience serving as a Financial Advisor within a holistic wealth management, independent advisory, or financial planning firm.
- Active Ohio Life & Health Insurance License and FINRA Series 6 or 7, along with Series 65 or 66 licensing (required).
- CFP®, AIF®, or other advanced financial planning designation is highly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of annuity products, retirement income planning, and holistic financial planning strategies, including retirement planning, investment management, long-term care planning, retirement account rollovers, bank-held asset consolidation, maturing CDs, Roth conversion strategies, tax-efficient distribution planning, tax mitigation strategies, estate planning coordination, and other complex client planning needs.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, Redtail CRM, and eMoney financial planning software.
- Working knowledge of additional industry platforms, including CRM systems, financial planning software, portfolio management software, and custodial technology (e.g., Salesforce, Wealthbox, MoneyGuide, Tamarac, Orion, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to evaluate financial data, assess risk, interpret market trends, and translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable client recommendations.
- Highly adaptable with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning while embracing proven processes and strategies that support long-term growth and scalability.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust, foster long-term client relationships, and deliver an outstanding client experience.
- Confident and engaging presenter with the ability to lead educational workshops, retirement seminars, webinars, and client presentations for both individual clients and larger audiences.

- Ability to work outside standard business hours as needed to support educational workshops, client appreciation events, networking opportunities, and industry-related conferences.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
