Jeff's Donuts is excited to bring our famous handcrafted donuts to Columbus! We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making fresh, premium donuts around the clock. We're looking for dependable, hardworking team members who take pride in keeping our bakery clean, organized, and running efficiently.
Our Dishwasher / Store Utility Team Members play a vital role in supporting both our Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Position Summary
As a Dishwasher / Store Utility Team Member, you'll help ensure the heart of our operation stays clean and ready for production. From washing dishes and cleaning equipment to maintaining floors and work areas, you'll help keep Jeff's Donuts operating at the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
This is a fast-paced position that is essential to delivering the premium quality our guests expect.
Key ResponsibilitiesDishwashing & Sanitation
- Wash, sanitize, and organize all dishes, baking trays, utensils, bowls, racks, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure clean dishes and equipment are available for production throughout every shift.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
Cleaning & Store Maintenance
- Keep all kitchen equipment clean and free of debris.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors throughout the store.
- Empty trash and recycling containers as needed.
- Clean sinks, counters, walls, shelving, storage areas, and workstations.
- Clean and sanitize buckets, containers, and other production tools.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and routine maintenance.
- Team Support
- Assist BOH and FOH team members with cleaning and organization.
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
- Jump in wherever needed to support the team during busy periods.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all health department regulations and food safety standards.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Help ensure Jeff's Donuts exceeds cleanliness and sanitation expectations every day.
Qualifications
- Restaurant, bakery, or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- On-site training provided.
