Full Job Description

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital role specializing in echocardiography, where your expertise supports patient care across two outpatient campuses. This 13-week contract assignment focuses on the delivery of high-quality cardiac imaging, making a direct impact on diagnostic outcomes.

Schedule:

5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
Daytime hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Key Qualifications:

Current BLS certification
Registered with ARDMS or CCI in echocardiography
Proven proficiency in performing echocardiograms and interpreting cardiac images
Experience working in a dynamic healthcare environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled echocardiographic exams at both designated outpatient campuses, adhering to all safety and quality standards
Accurately prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting as necessary
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide meaningful, timely results
Maintain complete, concise patient records and follow established protocols
Support a patient-centered environment by delivering clear instructions and demonstrating compassionate care
