JOB

Position Summary:

The Grants, Programs, and Services Manager is responsible for strategically planning, implementing, and evaluating various grants, programs, and services the Court offers. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and communication skills to manage resources effectively, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of initiatives. This position will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of ongoing and newly attained grants, programs, and services for the Court, including planning, organizing, developing, and controlling current program activities and services. The manager is responsible for compliance with and developing funding and grants with the Ohio Department of Youth Services (ODYS). This position provides supportive, inclusive, and effective leadership and contributes to the development, enhancement, and operations of the FACCES department to achieve the mission and vision.

No supervisory responsibility.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the strategic planning, directing, and administering of grant, programs, and services of the Court; policy interventions, research, current trends, emerging issues, and innovations with juvenile justice to enhance the effectiveness of current and future programs and services.

Maintain funding compliance requirements and reporting to the Ohio Department of Youth Services (ODYS), the Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF), and other funding sources; maintains records and documentation for successful grant audits.

Develop and oversee the implementation of programs aligned with the Court's mission and objectives. Create program goals, objectives, and milestones, and track progress towards achieving them.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of program activities.

Monitor program budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with the Finance Department on budget matters; conduct negotiations on issues such as terms and conditions of grants, programs, contracts, and MOUs; review all program invoices to ensure accuracy prior to payment.

Manage the delivery of services to clients, ensuring high-quality and timely support. Establish service standards, protocols, and procedures to maintain consistency and excellence.

Identify opportunities for service improvement and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction.

Research, identify, and pursue funding opportunities that align with the Court's mission and goals. Prepare grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents in accordance with funder requirements. Manage the grant application process, including submission, tracking, and reporting on grant outcomes. Ensure compliance with grant agreements, reporting deadlines, and funding requirements.

Cultivate relationships with funding agencies, partners, and donors to support program and grant objectives. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and support for initiatives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, solicit feedback, and address concerns.

Develop evaluation frameworks and methodologies to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs and services.

Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure outcomes, identify trends, and inform decision-making.

Prepare regular reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate program and grant performance to stakeholders.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, public administration, business administration). Masters preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in program management, service delivery and grants management, preferably in a nonprofit, public sector, or community-based organization.
Minimum of three (3) years of management/supervisory experience that includes administrative or oversight responsibilities.
Minimum of four (4) years’ project management experience, including planning, organization, and prioritization.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to public sector management and grant funding.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
