Who We Are
Ivoryology is a multi-location bridal boutique offering brand-new, on-trend wedding dresses $1,299 and $1,899. Our brides take their dresses home the same day. We serve brides planning a year ahead and brides who need a gown by Saturday, and we make both feel like the only bride in the world. What You Will Accomplish
Month 1: Master the daily rhythm of the boutique - morning prep, bride communications, appointment booking, ringing sales, proper merchandise handling, boutique close, and cleaning responsibilities. Hit a 50%+ closing ratio on first-visit appointments and begin participating in creating social media content for our feeds.
Month 3: Achieve a 65%+ closing ratio and demonstrate full command of the Ivoryology Bridal Experience - guiding brides confidently from the first hello to a joyful yes, every single appointment.
Month 6: Operate with complete confidence across all boutique systems and daily operations. Begin supporting newer team members - not by doing the work for them, but by holding the standard and helping them rise to it.
9–12+ Months (Performance-Based): For top performers who hold a strong closing ratio and take ownership of boutique operations, the opportunity exists to join Ivoryology's Training Team - traveling to new locations, helping launch new stores, and building new teams the Ivoryology way.
What You Will Do
- Guide brides through one-on-one styling appointments from the first hello to a confident, joyful yes
- Execute morning prep - answering bride messages, preparing bridal suites, and steaming and repairing gowns before the doors open
- Welcome walk-in brides with the same care and energy as scheduled appointments, every single time
- Contribute to Instagram and TikTok content that captures real Ivoryology moments and reflects the brand's warmth
- Help brides find the accessories that complete their look - veil, jewelry, headpiece so they leave feeling fully ready for their day
- Close the boutique fully every shift - floor clean, dresses reset, inventory processed, no message left unanswered
You'll Thrive in This Role If You
- Read a room instantly - you know when mom is the real decision-maker, when to slow down, and when silence does more work than words
- Trust your instincts and act on them - you read situations quickly, connect the dots without being told twice, and just get it. That kind of intuition isn't something we can teach, and it's exactly what our brides need from you
- Are confident in who you are and how you show up - you don't need constant reassurance to do great work, and that quiet self-assurance is exactly what brides feel when they're with you
- Hold yourself to a high standard whether or not a manager is on-site because you care about your craft and your numbers
- Find a packed Saturday energizing; back-to-back appointments, walk-ins, and emotional families fuel you rather than flatten you
- Are humble enough to learn the Ivoryology way, even if you've worked in bridal before - especially if you have
- Recover from “I need to think about it” without panic or resignation, and calmly find another way in
- Understand that weekends are your workdays and that's genuinely fine with you, not just something you're saying to get the job
Essential Experience
- 1–3 years in a customer-facing sales or service role — hospitality, high-end retail, beauty, fine jewelry, event coordination, or similar
- Proven ability to guide people toward confident decisions in emotionally charged, high-stakes environments
- Consistent personal presentation and quiet confidence — fashionable, well-groomed, and aligned with a boutique brand aesthetic
- Sharp situational awareness — you pick up on unspoken cues, adapt quickly, and bring common sense to every situation without needing step-by-step direction
- Comfort on camera and genuine willingness to contribute to social media content
- Full weekend availability — Saturdays and Sundays are non-negotiable

- Ivoryology is open Wed., Fri and Sat 10-6 and Sunday 12-5. All full time stylist are asked to be committed to working all of these hours. We do our best to accommodate requests for time off whenever possible. Can you commit to ALL of these hours?
