About Us:

Our client is an established commercial printing and production company specializing in high-quality printed materials and customized print solutions. They are seeking an experienced Digital Print Operator to join their production team in Hilliard, OH.

Summary:
Set up, program, operate, and maintain digital printing equipment.
Run digital print jobs from setup through completion while following job tickets and production specifications.
Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate print and color quality.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
Manage production schedules, prioritize jobs, and ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain accurate production documentation and inventory of paper and printing consumables.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a variety of digital printing equipment, including toner, inkjet, and/or wide-format inkjet systems.
Load and unload machines, clear paper jams, and make adjustments to maintain consistent production flow.
Carefully review job tickets and production specifications before and during each print run.
Monitor finished products for print quality, color accuracy, registration, and consistency.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate service calls when necessary.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and help minimize machine downtime.
Complete daily job tickets, production records, and other required documentation.
Monitor and manage inventory of paper and other printing consumables.
Communicate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and job requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of full-time digital print experience, including toner, inkjet, and/or wide-format inkjet printing.
Experience operating various digital printing equipment.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
Ability to accurately read and follow job tickets, work orders, and production specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
Ability to identify and evaluate color quality and accuracy.
Basic literacy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Previous commercial printing experience preferred.
Experience with Ricoh 9210, Ricoh 8220, and/or OCE Titan 6180 is a plus.
Experience troubleshooting digital printing equipment, coordinating service calls, or managing paper/print consumable inventory is highly preferred.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
