Job Title: Senior Specialist - Business Analysis
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to implement and support Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Handson experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter requirement gathering
- Lead requirements definition for complex projects and multiyear strategic initiatives identify and translate business needs into clearly defined requirements and create documentation inclusive of business use cases process flows data flows traceability matrices and report mockups
- Plans facilitate and conduct requirements gathering sessions meetings and presentations
- Lead review sessions for completed business functional requirements with key business users focused on gaining consensus and final business approval
- Build strong relationships within the business units and support functions to understand the business needs
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise ensure that out of the box functionality is leveraged and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Strong initiative able to self-manage comfortable with ambiguity and able to work through it to get the right things done
- Participate in the development and planning of the User Acceptance Testing activities including test plans and scripts based on requirements
- Facilitate UAT execution phase and work with business lead and project manager to obtain user acceptance test signoff
- Provide direction and leadership to one or more IT Business Analysts
- Travel as required approximately 10 %
Technical skills:
- Strong technology experience with policy administration solutions experiences with Guidewire PolicyCenter strongly preferred
- Experienced with Agile Scrum methodology and business analysis methodologies working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards
- Handson experience writing user stories is required
- Knowledge and experience leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvement
- Experience operating and interfacing with business management including negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience using standard project and business tools including SVN JIRA HPQC Rally Microsoft Project Excel PowerPoint Project and SharePoint
Must Have Skills:
- Gathered analyzed documented business and technical requirements from both formal and informal sessions and validate the needs of the business stakeholders thereby drafting the Technical Design Document TDD and System Specification Document SSD
- Handson experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter requirement gathering
- Utilized the guidelines and artifacts of guidewire to develop a detailed requirement of OOTB Functions and customizations
- Develop business requirements documenting workflow and process for Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Actively participate in SCRUM meetings and ensured all Agile project techniques are used in accomplishing the tasks based on the deadlines
- Worked with SCRUM Master Business Owners Project Sponsor SME and Guidewire Consultants to define Product Backlog Sprint Backlog estimate efforts for user stories
- Worked with the business and developers for requirement clarifications
Good to have Skills:
- Minimum one E2E implementation experience of Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Experienced with Agile Scrum methodology and business analysis methodologies
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal understands communication channels and escalates appropriately
- AINS 21222324 Certification or Guidewire Analyst Certifications

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

Benefits
Compensation range: $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
