Full Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity in the Columbus, OH area where you’ll work directly with industrial customers on projects, repairs, and new equipment sales. In this Industrial Sales Engineer role, you’ll combine customer-facing communication with technical expertise to drive successful outcomes across mechanical and electrical equipment applications.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Sales Engineer position include:

Compensation range: $70k - $140k
Maintain frequent contact with customers via in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and text messages regarding projects, repairs, and new goods sales.
Manage multiple projects at one time, including work directly at customer sites.
Internally manage new goods sales and repairs of customer equipment.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and comfort recording detailed notes and saving all relevant documents in CRM software.
Have working knowledge of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment (e.g., electric motors, pumps, gear reducers).
Research legacy or obsolete equipment and propose current equipment for retrofit into existing spaces, communicating differences to the customer.
Generate detailed customer quotes using vendor and internal pricing sources, and write Technical Findings Reports detailing issues found during the repair process.

Salary: $70,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
