Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Service Desk Analyst to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for end-users experiencing technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure seamless business operations. Your expertise in troubleshooting, system administration, and customer service will drive user satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies, including operating systems, hardware, and network infrastructure, while delivering exceptional support across the organization.

Duties

Respond promptly to user inquiries via help desk tickets, phone calls, and email, ensuring issues are logged accurately and prioritized effectively.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Perform system administration tasks such as managing user accounts in Active Directory and maintaining access controls.
Support Windows Server environments by assisting with system updates, user permissions, and troubleshooting server-related issues.
Maintain computer hardware by performing upgrades, repairs, and routine maintenance to optimize performance.
Configure and support network connectivity including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and wireless access points.
Utilize IT service management tools like ServiceNow or Jira to track incidents, document resolutions, and generate reports for continuous improvement.
Assist with macOS and Linux operating systems support to ensure compatibility across diverse platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects to enhance system reliability and security.
Provide training or guidance to end-users on software applications such as Microsoft Office suite and basic computer management best practices.

Skills

Proven experience in technical support with strong problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of system administration tasks including Active Directory management and Windows Server administration.
Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN configuration, VPN setup, firewalls, and network security protocols.
Strong understanding of hardware maintenance procedures for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Experience with help desk tools like ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking and resolution documentation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems, software applications, network devices, and security measures.
