Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, potential weekend work
- Full time
- 8-hour shift
The right candidate will have:
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout the Columbus, Ohio area and spend multiple weeks onsite as required to complete projects
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and a working knowledge of
- project scheduling software
- Skills to communicate clearly verbally, in handwriting, and electronically
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of industrial/commercial mechanical construction manner of working and exceptional jobsite management skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills; Able to effectively allocate and develop resources
Our Journeyman Welder will:
- Be proficient in and able to pass a Pipe Stick test (2” SCH 160 SMAW 6G 6010/7018)
- Be proficient in and able to pass a TIG SS pipe weld test
- Be experienced welding carbon steel, stainless and alloys
- Be able to fit components into a weldment using drawings.
- Be proficient at blueprint reading.
- Be able to follow detailed work instructions, verbal or written to execute job functions
- Have minimum experience in how to operate and be proficient with the following equipment: oxy/acy cutting, hand plasma cutting
- Have minimum experience or knowledge in Rigid pipe threading and Victaulic a plus.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- ASME experience and certification is a huge plus!
