Senior Boomi & EDI Developer / Technical Lead

Location: Columbus, OH

Work Model: Hybrid (3–4 Days Onsite per Week)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Boomi & EDI Developer to provide both technical leadership and delivery coordination for enterprise integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Dell Boomi, EDI implementations, and experience coordinating offshore development teams while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.

This role requires a blend of technical development, team leadership, stakeholder management, project coordination, and integration architecture expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between the Integration Manager and offshore development teams.
Review business and technical requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
Coordinate and guide offshore developers to ensure successful project execution.
Provide technical leadership for Dell Boomi integration solutions and EDI implementations.
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery of assigned work.
Review development deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
Track and validate team timesheets and resource utilization.
Assist with project planning, effort estimation, capacity planning, and cost tracking.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and priorities.
Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement integration best practices.
Manage risks, escalations, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning activities.
Ensure documentation is maintained for integrations, workflows, and technical solutions.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver successful integration projects.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Dell Boomi Integration Platform.
Extensive experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting Boomi integrations.
Strong experience with EDI implementations including X12, EDIFACT, and B2B integrations.
Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating offshore development teams.
Ability to review technical requirements and convert them into development plans.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing project estimates, actual effort, timelines, and resource utilization.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in Agile and fast-paced delivery environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Boomi AtomSphere platform.
Experience with API integrations, REST/SOAP services, and middleware technologies.
Knowledge of integration architecture and best practices.
Previous experience serving as a Technical Lead or Integration Lead.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale integration programs.
Exposure to cloud-based integration environments.
