Occupational Therapist
Mount Vernon, Ohio
$40-55/HR
Sign On Bonus & Relocation Offered

The Occupational Therapist will work on a case load that is 50% Peds and 50% Inpatients.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care.
50% Peds and 50% Inpatients.
Deliver quality therapy to help patients reach maximum functional level.
Care for patients of all ages: neonate to geriatric.
Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in inpatient and peds settings.
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
Ensure compliance with standards of practice, payer regulations, and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care.
Maintain courteous, respectful, and professional customer service.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare team members and departments.
Assist with daily operations and data collection in the medical fitness center.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:

A bachelor's degree or higher in Science in Allied Health Professions in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current license for Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio.
Ability to work variable days and hours as necessary.
Current CPR certificate.
Strong knowledge of occupational therapy practices across multiple settings.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to multitask and complete assigned duties efficiently.
Commitment to patient safety and professional standards.
