Full Job Description

Operations Coordinator

Reports To: Executive Director

Status: Full-Time

Location: Central Ohio, Remote

Position Summary

The Operations Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative support for OGIA's membership, certification, education, and event programs. The position works closely with the Executive Director and staff to ensure members receive excellent service and the association's operations run efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

Membership Administration

· Process membership renewals, invoices, and account updates.

· Maintain accurate member records.

· Respond to routine member inquiries.

· Support membership reporting and retention efforts.

Certification Administration

· Process certification applications and testing.

· Maintain certification records and renewals.

· Track continuing education credits.

· Coordinate communications with candidates, schools, and instructors.

LMS Administration

· Maintain user accounts and enrollments.

· Import certification records.

· Provide first-level learner support.

Event & Education Support

Coordinate logistics for webinars, certification testing, and educational events.
Manage registrations, attendance, CEUs, and participant communications.
Support speakers and volunteers before and during events.

Website & Systems

· Maintain event calendars, routine website content, and digital records.

· Support organizational systems and data management.

General Operations Support

· Support board meetings, committees, and internal administrative processes.

· Maintain organizational records and standard operating procedures.

· Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

Three or more years of administrative, operations, association, nonprofit, or project coordination experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
High attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based software platforms.

Preferred

Experience working for a nonprofit, trade association, or membership organization.
Experience with association management systems (YM, Fonteva, MemberClicks, etc.).
Experience administering Learning Management Systems.
Experience coordinating events or educational programs.
Experience supporting volunteer committees or boards.

Success Measures

· Within the first year, success in this role will be demonstrated by:

· Accurate membership and certification records.

· Timely processing of applications, renewals, and CEUs.

· Smooth execution of educational events.

· Reliable administration of the LMS and organizational systems.

· Consistent, responsive service to members and volunteers.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
