About the role: A hands-on, high-impact role for someone seeking a long-term professional home
This is not a traditional receptionist or front desk position. The Patient Care Coordinator Assistant is the operational heartbeat of our clinic—helping patients feel cared for, keeping providers supported, and ensuring the office runs efficiently from start to finish.
We are looking for a dependable, motivated professional who wants to plant roots, grow with our practice, and become an essential part of our team. This opportunity is best suited for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys staying active, and performs well in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Your Role:
You will help manage the daily flow of the clinic while creating an organized, professional, and welcoming experience for every patient. You must be comfortable shifting between patient care, scheduling, communication, documentation, and administrative responsibilities throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out
- Serving as a primary point of contact for patients in person and by phone
- Coordinating communication between patients, providers, and team members
- Monitoring patient flow and helping the clinic remain on schedule
- Maintaining accurate records and completing documentation
- Verifying insurance information and collecting patient payments
- Supporting clinical and administrative operations as needed
- Keeping the front office and patient areas organized and efficient
- Providing a consistently professional and positive patient experience
Who Will Thrive in This Position?
The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, emotionally intelligent, and dependable. You notice what needs to be done and take initiative without requiring constant direction. You can manage several priorities at once while remaining accurate, approachable, and composed.
You may be a strong fit if you are:
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
- Calm and solution-focused under pressure
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Warm, professional, and confident with patients
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully
- Comfortable receiving feedback and learning new systems
- Mentally and physically agile
- Interested in building a lasting role within a growing practice
Bilingual Spanish/English abilities are a plus, but not required.
What to Expect:
This is an active, hands-on position—not a primarily sedentary desk role. Our clinic moves quickly, and priorities can change throughout the day based on patient and provider needs.
You will be expected to:
- Transition efficiently between responsibilities
- Manage high patient volume and frequent interactions
- Adjust schedules and priorities in real time
- Complete repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy
- Remain organized and professional during busy periods
- Move throughout the clinic to support patients and staff
- Learn new responsibilities as the position and practice grow
Is This the Right Environment for You?
This position may not be the right fit if you prefer a slow-paced environment, become easily overwhelmed by changing priorities, struggle with multitasking, or require frequent supervision to remain on task.
We are intentionally looking for someone who wants more than a temporary job. We want a team member who values stability, takes pride in being relied upon, and is genuinely interested in developing a long-term future with our practice.
Apply If You’re Ready to Make an Impact
If you enjoy helping people, take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, and want to become an important part of a close-knit healthcare team, we would like to hear from you.
Please submit your résumé along with a brief explanation of why you believe you would be successful in this role and what you are looking for in your next long-term position.
