Full Job Description

SŌW Plated is looking to either a Part Time Pastry Prep/Baker (can be FT if additional prep shifts wanted) to handle our Vegan, Gluten Free, and alternative Desserts and other baked goods. We are a health-inspired restaurant based off the Anti-Depressant Food Scale, looking to bring awareness and knowledge on the connection been Food and Mood, and further our mission of "Good Food, Good Mood". SŌW also stands for Sustainable, Organic, Wellness, which are our company's pillars and ethos. Intentional in our sourcing, with about 75% of the kitchen being certified organic, in efforts to help heal people with food.

Ideally, this position helps in the development of additional desserts/baked goods (both savory and sweet) based on the level of experience and interest of the person hired. This position will be creating product for both our full-service Restaurant and our Cafe outlets off-premise.

3 shifts per week for Pastry work (times TBD, but figure about 18-21 hrs), with 2 additional shifts of prep available (if wanted, an additional 7-14 hrs). Line work available as well if that would be preferred instead of additional prep shifts.

Must have experience with desserts, baking, and breads. Must have experience with both Vegan and Gluten Free products and production options, and have an interest in learning more about health concious and plant-forward foods.

Pay is weekly (Tuesday pay day), parking is free, PTO acrued hourly with no probation period.

Resume and Portfolio with past works and/or project will be expected for this position.
