What You’ll Be Doing
As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for closing your own roofing sales while also helping lead and develop a team of sales representatives.
Your role will include:
- Running appointments with homeowners
- Closing roofing projects through rehash opportunities, referrals, networking, self-sourced opportunities, and company opportunities when available
- Following the Division 1 Roofing sales process exactly as trained
- Managing your personal sales pipeline through our CRM
- Following up with homeowners quickly, professionally, and consistently
- Building trust with customers and helping them make confident decisions
- Creating additional sales opportunities through referrals, networking, rehash, follow-up, and self-sourcing
- Helping train, coach, and support sales reps on your team
- Holding team members accountable to activity, follow-up, CRM usage, self-sourced lead generation, and the company sales process
- Assisting team members with appointments, estimates, follow-ups, and closing strategies
- Tracking team production, sales activity, lead activity, and pipeline movement
- Leading by example through personal production, self-sourced activity, and professional conduct

Leads, Self-Sourcing, and Sales Process
Division 1 Roofing provides company-generated opportunities, but this is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and wait for leads.

To succeed in this role, you must be willing to follow the sales process we train you on. That includes proper lead handling, appointment structure, follow-up, CRM documentation, customer communication, pricing process, and closing procedures.
As a Sales Team Lead, you will also be expected to lead by example and help your team create opportunities through consistent activity, follow-up, and disciplined execution of the sales process.

Compensation
This is a 100% commission-based position with major upside.
Compensation includes:
- Commission on your personal sales
- Override commission on your team’s production
- Monthly revenue-based bonuses

Requirements
- Previous sales experience required
- Roofing, home improvement, construction, or outside sales experience preferred
- Leadership, team lead, or sales management experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a 100% commission-based role
- Must be willing to follow the company sales process
- Must be able to manage and update a CRM consistently
- Must have strong communication and follow-up skills
- Must be self-motivated, coachable, and accountable
- Must be willing to self-source opportunities through referrals, networking, follow-up, and other sales activity
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable meeting homeowners in the field
- Must be able to lead by example and produce personal sales
