About the Role

At Emerald Psychiatry, we see possibilities instead of barriers. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will work alongside Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses & Medical Assistants to support patients through their mental health journey.

This role is primarily focused on supporting our Spravato (esketamine) treatment program, while also assisting with general medication management and medical assistant responsibilities.

Schedule: Full-time, 4x10s (Monday–Thursday, 7:15 AM – 5:45 PM)
Location: In-person at our Dublin office

Key Responsibilities

Spravato Program Support

Facilitate patient self-administration of Spravato (esketamine) in accordance with REMS program requirements
Monitor patients throughout treatment sessions, including obtaining and tracking vital signs
Observe patient response and escalate concerns to RN/provider as needed
Ensure patient safety and comfort during the full duration of treatment visits
Prepare and document detailed treatment notes for provider review
Collaborate closely with Registered Nurses and medication management providers to ensure high-quality care delivery

Clinical & Medical Support

Perform clinical tasks within LPN scope, including vitals, preparing clinical notes, and basic procedures
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers (within scope)
Support medication management workflows, including pharmacy coordination and patient communication
Assist with prior authorizations, prescription coordination, and patient follow-up

Administrative & Patient Support

Document patient interactions accurately in the EMR
Assist with scheduling, patient intake, and follow-up coordination
Provide front-line support to patients in person and via phone/portal
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory standards
Partner with the care team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

Requirements

Active Ohio LPN license (required)
3–5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting (behavioral health or outpatient experience preferred)
Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); EMR experience preferred
High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric care
Familiarity with Spravato (esketamine) or similar treatment programs
Experience supporting medication management workflows
