Full Job Description

For more than 50 years, HelpLine has provided compassionate support to individuals and families throughout our communities through 24/7 crisis intervention, resource navigation, prevention education, advocacy services, and volunteer programs. Every day, our team helps people navigate some of life’s most difficult moments.

We’re looking for a collaborative, organized, and relationship-focused Sexual Assault Response Network (SARN) Regional Engagement Facilitator to strengthen coordinated community responses to sexual violence across our five-county service region. This position leads regional collaboration efforts, coordinates Sexual Assault Response Teams (SARTs), facilitates community education and outreach, and helps ensure survivors have access to trauma-informed, victim-centered services through strong partnerships and coordinated systems of care.

What You’ll Do

As our SARN Regional Engagement Facilitator, you’ll play a key role in strengthening regional collaboration and expanded survivor-centered services by:

+ Leading and coordinating SARTs throughout the five-county region.

+ Building and maintaining partnerships with law enforcement, healthcare providers, victim service organizations, and other community stakeholders.

+ Managing SART protocols, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and ongoing evaluation efforts to support best practices.

+ Developing and delivering community trainings, presentations, and outreach initiatives that increase awareness of SARN services.

+ Facilitating the North Central Crim Victims Regional Group and supporting regional collaboration.

+ Leading outreach initiatives, including Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) activities and other community engagement events.

+ Participating in the SARN on-call rotation, including administrator on-call responsibilities, and providing backup survivor advocacy as needed.

+ Maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and grant-related records in accordance with agency and funding requirements.

+ Promoting trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally inclusive practices throughout all services and community engagement efforts.

+ Participating in professional development and performing other duties that support the success of the SARN program.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys building partnerships, coordinating projects, facilitating collaboration, and creating meaningful community impact.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field.

+ Minimum of two years of professional experience in human services or a related field.

+ Excellent communication, relationship-building, and public speaking skills.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

+ Demonstrated meeting facilitation skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic data collection methods.

+ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and community partners.

+ Flexibility to participate in occasional evening and weekend activities.

+ Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.

+ Ability to successfully complete required background checks.
