General Manager- Entertainment Venue

Columbus, OH
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year

Lead an Exceptional Guest Experience

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the daily operations of a one-of-a-kind hospitality and entertainment destination in Columbus.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing high-performing teams, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the operation, including financial performance, staffing, facility operations, customer satisfaction, and team development while partnering with executive leadership to drive long-term success.

Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
Foster a positive, accountable, and guest-focused culture
Coach department leaders and support employee development
Lead daily operations while maintaining a collaborative work environment

Operations

Oversee all day-to-day facility operations
Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation
Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiency
Coordinate facility maintenance and vendor relationships
Ensure operational policies and procedures are consistently followed

Financial Management

Manage the location's profit and loss performance
Monitor labor costs, budgets, and operating expenses
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability

Guest Experience

Deliver exceptional hospitality at every guest interaction
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
Build relationships that encourage repeat visits and customer loyalty
Maintain a welcoming, high-quality environment throughout the facility

Business Development

Support local marketing initiatives and promotional events
Develop community partnerships
Collaborate with leadership on business growth strategies
Represent the organization professionally within the local community

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of management experience in hospitality, entertainment, hotels, restaurants, wellness, fitness, or other customer-focused environments
Experience managing teams of 20 or more employees
Strong financial management and operational leadership experience
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

Preferred

Experience opening a new business or location
Luxury hospitality or entertainment industry experience
Membership or customer loyalty program experience
Multi-department management experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
